Guest guest Posted August 9, 2001 Report Share Posted August 9, 2001 Hello Everyone, I recently was diagnosed with AIH after having gall bladder problems to begin with. I really don't have a lot of problems as some of the e-mails I have seen so far from others. Any aches and pains joint or otherwise I attribute to my age and all the fun I had when I younger I just turned 47 and have been off work for almost 3 months-started back on 08012001. About 3 weeks ago I began to feel energetic again, yippee !!! I am currently on 10mg prednisone 2 times a day and the liver enzymes are much better. I guess basically I really need to touch bases with a few people who are recently diagnosed, the meds they are on and what kind of problems are being experienced. If, this is not too personal. Also, I am having a heck of a time I have a firewall and can't join the chat room and I am having problems logging in to the site in AOL. At any rate if anyone wants to email me please do. I too have been feeling much more energy since being on the pred.I am experiencing some other side effects I could do without LOL.Weight gain,bruising easily,edema in ankles,cararacts.Hopefully these things well go away when the amount of pred is decreased.In the meantime Im thankful to be dx early and am tolerating the meds.
