Guest guest
I was really impressed with the way my IV was started. The anesthesiologist did it. First he injected some anesthetic with a very tiny needle which I hardly felt and then didnt feel it at all when he put the iv needle in. Guest guest
Dear : Isn't it nice when they do it that way?! I've had it done both ways and much prefer it done with the anesthetic. Some will do it and some won't, although I always request it. It just makes it so much less painful. It should be a requirement! The nurses who don't use it say that it's just another stick, but boy the difference that it makes is well worth it in my opinion.
