Lecithin and under-active thyroid

I have searched for lecithin and thyroid articles in the archives

and on the internet in general and I am getting frustrated looking

through the dozens of links that come up which are not pertinent to

my concerns.

I have been reading that soy is very dangerous to thyroid health.

Lecithin is being touted as a great supplement for liver and gall

bladder problems that I am dealing with. The lecithin I am taking is

pure soy.

Does anyone know if the harmful ingredients of soy are removed in

lecithin? Am I doing further damage to my thyroid by taking lecithin

for my liver and gall bladder? My thyroid levels are bouncing all

over the place. I am also in early menopause and I have read that

menopause alone can cause thyroid imbalances.

Any light on this subject would be much appreciated.
