Guest guest
Hi, just caught your post asking about osteotomies. I had only 4. Couldn't imagine having to have had 8! yikes! Also caught up on your other post about over doing it. WEll stop it! I loved my clean house, taking care of the critters, making dinner for my husband (all kids out of the house 'cept one who keeps his own hours, he's 28). I have learned to let it all go. Bob does the vacuuming, dusting, cooking, bathroom cleaning plus his job and all the outside stuff that needs to get done. And he doesn't mind a bit. WE do the commissary together. I kinda stand and hold on the the basket, he pulls it, and if he goes to fast I just let go and eventually catch up. When we get home he puts it all away. If I even try to help I am shooed away. I guess I am a very lucky woman. He will not let me over do it and when I do need to lay down, he checks on me every so often to see if I need anything. He is always the one reminding me that it will take a year or more for recovery and to stop it! And you have birds! Love the birds. What types are in your aviary? We just one one big old noisy one. A blue and gold macaw. And I don't have to clean her cage anymore!!! Yippee for a slow recovery on that one! Take care of yourself....
