Guest guest
Hi Scarlett! No, it doesn't burn at all. Don't cut or trim or break open the clove in any way (that WOULD burn, I think!), just insert it whole. I'm not talking about a whole HEAD of garlic, just one good-sized clove. Pick one about the diameter of a tampon. Peel the skin, put it in! In my experience, using a clove all night for 2-3 nights will get rid of a mild case. A really bad one would take longer - and of course 'your milage may vary'! As for how well it works, I'd compare it to the old Clotrimazole (?) creams I used to get from the drugstore (non-prescription). The 3-day cream or suppository was a joke, almost never was enough to cure me. I had to do the 7-day version, and sometimes even that wouldn't work. The garlic technique works WAY better than that 7-day cream treatment worked. And what a bargain! A whole head of garlic is like, 29 cents? While that crappy tube of chemicals was anywhere from $7.99 to $15!!! Try the garlic. Janine You wrote: Did the garlic glove burn or anything? How long did you use them? I can't quite imagine doing this but I'm definately willing to give it a try if it works. How long did it take to work? Thanks so much Scarlett
