Guest guest
Hi Lia, It sounds like I'm in a similar predicament to you. My second (where I was awake) liver biopsy was not as bad as my first and the results were surprisingly not as bad as I expected. In any case, my doctor wanted me to go in for tests to see if I could go on the transplant list. That is on hold at the moment because 3 lots of blood tests (two weeks apart) showed improvement in my condition. However, last Tuesday my ALT and AST were back up. He's going to wait another two weeks to see if they stay up, then I'll probably have to go in for the tests. It was such a shock to me when he first mentioned the transplant list, but I have now gotten used to the idea and am more ready for it. I hope your biopsy is okay and I suppose at least being on a list is better than leaving it till you're really ill.
