Guest guest
Hi Amy! Thanks for that info on the colostrum. My husband bought some around the New Year, after hearing an advertisement for it. He has taken it for about a week and a half, and I have taken a few pills myself, (but not regularly yet), so I can't say yet how it is working, but hopefully it will work as well for us as it has worked for you! It provides life-supporting immune and growth factors that insure the health and vitality of the newborn. Research has shown that Colostrum has powerful natural immune and growth factors that bring the body to a state of homeostasis--its powerful, vital natural state of health and well being. Colostrum helps support healthy immune function; it also enables us to resist the harmful effects of pollutants, contaminants and allergens where they attack us. When my father was sick with cancer, we needed to try to boost his immune system some how because of the negative side-effects of the chemo. This is when we discovered "New Life Colostrum" . If I had not have experienced it for myself, I would have never believed it. But I can tell you, this works like a miracle. Prior to using this I would have pneumonia every year without fail, not to mention the flu. Since using this I have not had either in 3 years. Not to mention, I no longer get yeast infections. That alone is good enough for me. And my father is feeling like his normal self once again. Even the doctors I work for rant and rave about it and can't keep it in stock. If anyone is interested, just let me know. I can help you get some. I truely believe this has worked for us and all our family and friends. Guest guest
The amount of lactose in colostrum is scant - 163 mg. in two capsules compared to 13,000 mg. in one 8-oz. glass of milk. Any discomfort would mroe likely be a sign that colostrum is healing the digestive tract. Research is pointing to the fact that to receive the maximum benefit from colostrum, it should be taken both encapsulated and in powder form. Colostrum should be taken encapsulated, on an empty stomach with a full glass of water to enable the colostrum to reach the small intestine where the immune factors have been shown to do their best work. To receive the optimal benefit from the growth factors (repair body tissue, fat utilization for fuel, anti-aging), colostrum should be taken in powder form so it can mix with the acid in the stomach or mouth. The powder can either be mixed as a shake with water or juice (possibly orange juice) or taken sublingually (under the tongue). Side effects are rare. Due to its detoxifying nature, certain side effects may occur. It is possible for these toxins to produce minor rashes, bowel changes or flu-like symptoms until they are cleansed from the body. Although colostrum is an animal food, it has been an important part of the strict Vegan diet of India's Hindu Rishsi (spiritual leaders) for thousands of years.
