It loks to me like it might be something to investigate with a doctor if you are considering delaying surgery and are just looking for additonal relief. Of course it won't fix the mechanical things wrong with our spines...but for folks that would be happy with a 15% reduction in pain if they are dealing mostly with compressed nerve roots maybe it would buy some time...
