Going to a professional, you simply have more sophisticated equipment, and the help of another person. The concept is the same: Constant flowing water going into the entire colon and releasing old stuck " stuff " . The water is allowed to leave the body when one feels the urge to release. (And I have had an absolute life change with the colonics, and would do them at home if I felt I would be successful. The equipment seems a little cumbersom for me, is all.
