Please do re-check your diet first - there might be some important aspects you've missed - see the handy lists contained in the Candida Diet Folder. > I have read the folder on arthritis and candida and am wondering, > since I never had this problem before if it could be a reaction to > the candida toxins being released and how I can stop the progression of the arthritis. I have cut out all nightshades from my diet months ago and regularly have beef broth. ==>Taking cod liver oil is very important and getting enough good saturated fats - see the ratios of protein to fat to carbs required in the Candida Diet folder. I suspect there is something not quite right with your diet and supplements, i.e. calcium & magnesium. Also trace minerals are extremely important (lemon & ocean sea salt drink recommended). Guest guest
Hi Bee Thanks for your reply. I actually did sign on this group last April but in December had to change my email address so I signed out and came on again. I have been following the diet since last April very carefully. The only thing I was doing different was making my own yogurt which I stopped about a month ago, just in case it was causing a problem. I have improved in so many ways this past year that I am really stumped by the arthritis like symptoms. I feel it must be related to the toxins too. Perhaps with my severe MCS I am having trouble expelling them and they are temporarily settling in my joints. I forgot that I was taking chlorella in the summer, I do take the coconut oil, CLO, calcium, magnesium, lemon and seasalt, cabbage rejeuvelac etc. Two other supplements that I take are beta sterolins for immune support and N-acetyl-l-cysteine. I will check everything again but I have been very careful from the beginning to follow the diet and I have improved so much that this really has me confounded. Beta sterolin is a steroid, and cysteine is an amino acid that you are getting by eating meats and eggs. ==>Let me know how you do. Bee P.S. Laurie, please trim your messages - see our Candida Group Information folder. Thanks a bunch!

Beta sterolin is a > steroid, and cysteine is an amino acid that you are getting by eating > meats and eggs. I will stop them for a while and see what happens. I usually take them for a few months and take a break anyway but looking back in my notes I see that I started the plant sterolins again in early October and the problem started a month later so you may be right. I'll let you know what happens. Thanks a lot. Laurie > ==>Let me know how you do. > > Bee
