O+ is a problem for being on the list a long time because anyone can receive

an O+ liver but O+ people can only have O+. So everyone else ahead or equal

on the list has a chance for the liver before you do. Seems weird but that's

how it was explained to me - hope it makes sense :)

Another O+,

Re: [ ] Digest Number 2348

Amy,I had an emergency transplant in June 99. I had AB+. Which I was told is a rarer form of blood match. any way I did get lucky when the transplant team found a 0 liver for me. I just celebrated my 3rd year of my liver transplant last Sunday of course it was Father's day. My family surprised me totally by having candles on the cake.gayle/trans.6-99galye@... @` \I/
