Interesting story, the folks from Blue Cross /Blue Shield basically said that your group didn't keep a balance in the members as required in the contract, that all were signing up for the coverage were older sicker members, no young members, and thus they failed to keep the terms of the contract, thus your guys were cancelled. Their thought was the youngers ones pay in , and in a way pay for the older ones that need more care, but when the balance is off the insurance company has too many claims and not enough funds coming in and thus they cancelled. They followed in the piece a women left by this cancellation unable to get insurance due to two previous battles with cancer, and she was too young to yet get coverage under medicare. Bet groups across the board will see cancellations like this, interesting story, so sorry it affects you! [ ] I've Lost 100LBS!!! Hello folks!! After about 21 months on my weightloss journey (without excercise) - I am happy to tell you that I have lost 100LBS!! It is Amazing, but oh so true!! It has been a long difficult road, but my hard work has paid off...
