Guest guest
I have developed sores in my nose. They are very sore and my nose is really try and bloody inside. Do I have yeast growing in my nose? Is it a healing reaction? Would putting some coconut oil on a q-tip and rubbing it around inside my nose help it heal? Anyone else develop sores like this? It started about the same time as the bumps on my arms appeared. Jill
Guest guest
Hi Jill I also have sores in my nose due to candida but they have gotten much better since I have been on this diet. Now I only have problems when my nose dries out. I put a little coconut oil on a spoon and then use my finger to spread it everywhere in my nose. Also salt and water soaks or snizzles would probably help it too. It will get better with time once you get your candida under control. Do I have yeast growing in my nose? ==>Candida does grow in your nose and sinuses because it has mucus membranes. > > Is it a healing reaction? ==>It isn't necessarily a healing reaction, but during natural healing many different and weird symptoms can appear. > > Would putting some coconut oil on a q-tip and rubbing it around inside my nose help it heal? ==>Yes, it would help - also see the Sinuses articles for snizzles using sea salt or garlic tea, etc. Ensure your air has enough moisture by boiling water on the stove, or run a hot shower (don't burn yourself) allowing the steam to fill up the room and sit in it breathing deeply for 10-15 minutes. > > Anyone else develop sores like this? Guest guest
Hi Jill, My nose sores also developed after I started diet, so I happily assume it is a die-off symptom. (The same as itchy scalp, but that's not the topic at the moment.) They aren't very big or painful, more annoying. I treated mine exactly the way you suggested - little coconut cream with a help of a q-tip. And yes, it worked! Well, to be honest, now that you mentioned - mine are gone (at the moment). They might come back again (it already happened before), but smaller then originally. Good luck Jasmina >I have developed sores in my nose. Guest guest
Thanks Bee! It's good to know what is causing them. It's also reassuring to see others posting that they have had the same symptom and to know that I'm not the only one. I got my coconut oil last night and have been applying it with a q- tip. I'll try the other things too. I am getting a cluster of weird symptoms of late. It's good to know that they may be a sign that my body is healing. To me it says, keep doing what you're doing.
