Guest guest
Here we go again, thanks for the invite Cam. I am having revision surgery done at Beth Isreal Deac in Boston in April. After anterior surgery repairing that lovely lumbar that is collapsing on the first day, the second posterior surgery will be either to remove and replace the rod that is there or extend it into the lumbar area. So far, I must admit I have had a relatively smooth ride since the Harrington rod went in at the age of 15. Though steadily I had increased pain in my hips, the downfall wasn't until I had a child at 40. (God bless him). I know have all sorts of walking and standing issues. Anybody else have this surgery with Dr. Glazer? Any words of encouragement, advise would be helpful. Please no horror stories though, I am nervous enough.
