Guest guest Posted September 28, 2006 Report Share Posted September 28, 2006 Dr Rand said that because I have a gall stone, I had to be 'cleared' by a GI Dr. and I went and got a CAT scan and such. The GI Dr said that there is nothing he can do to be sure that (now there are a lot, apparently) they dont act up during surgery. Has anyone had issues with gall stones during revision? Dr Rand did say that he has had some patients have issues post op and I imagine have to be taken back into the OR for gall bladder surgery. Hmm.
