Guest guest
Hi Sara, You mentioned being fine on the antibiotics and then wham...I would think it would have more to do with the antibiotics than the parasite cleanse. When I was taking all those antibiotics for the sinus infection, I had the same problem. Felt great for a few days ON the antibiotics and then wham. Good luck, Barbara > During this last round of parasite herbs (VRM2) I've had several > bouts of getting really tired. Guest guest
I'm also pretty exhausted though this. I feel better, just still very worn out. What is VRM2?

Guest guest
Sara; The fatigue you mention could very well be the reaction to the die- off of parasites (Herxhiemer Reaction). As they die in abundance the body becomes loaded with the dead critters toxins. This becomes an overload for the liver and therefore the fatigue because it needs to work extra hard at removing the toxins from your blood. When doing cleanses it's important to consider the whole picture of the process of doing a cleanse. In today's world we are bombarded with various toxins on a daily basis, from the exhaust from cars to the chemicals used to clean a house. Then to add insult to this existing injury we can also acquire parasites from the foods we eat. The body is absorbing these toxins by way of breath, and through the skin, where, but a few, parasites are usually consumed in the foods we eat. When a detox of the body is being done the liver is the primary tool used for removing the toxins from the blood. However, it must have a means by which to remove the toxins from itself. This is done by way of the bile it produces, but in order to get all of this out of the body there must be a medium provided for the bile to be absorbed and carried out of the body. This then brings us to the bowels. The bowels must not only be kept clean so the matter that is being provided will pass freely through it, but it must also be provided with matter which is going to be able to absorb the bile that the liver has released, which contains toxins. This is where when doing a cleanse it is important to eat foods that are of a soluble fiber and non-soluble fiber content. As the soluble fiber will absorb the bile containing the filtered out toxins, and with do diligence of a properly operating waste system, move it out of the body with very little re-absorption of the toxins or bile being removed. When there is no medium to carry out the toxins the bile and the toxins can be re-absorbed from the bowels leaving a person feeling quite tired and ill from doing a cleanse. Guest guest
hi dale, thank you for a great post! could you please list foods that have soluble fiber/ non-soluble fiber content. best, aida Here are a couple of sites that will certainly explain this even better than I can, plus they will give you some idea of some foods to eat for fiber content. http://www.eatright.org/nfs/nfs88.html http://www.cybervitamins.com/colodyne.htm One thing I would like to note too is that although Psyllium is a great source of soluble fiber it is one that can cause a bit of gas as the colon is starting to cleanse, but will stop doing so after a few day, usually. So, this along with a good amount of EFAs each day can pretty well assure someone with a high cholesterol count of LDL an increase in HDL, and a reduction in LDL, within a fairly short time. Guest guest
Thanks for your thoughtful post, Dale. And after reading it, I'm inspired to go get a colonic. Had a couple several months back. This might be a good time to go again! > Sara; > The fatigue you mention could very well be the reaction to the die- > off of parasites (Herxhiemer Reaction).
