Guest guest
Hi, I have been a member for awhile and didn't know that anyone else on this site was from Ct. except Cam. I was born in Bronxville NY, but moved to Norwalk when I was two and was there until I went away to college. I am 55 and had my original surgery at HSS in 1969, with Dr. Doherty. I made quite a few friends there over my three month stay - many were patients of Dr. Levine. My brother lives in Newtown, as do all of my Dad's family. I will probably be up there in June as his daughter graduates from HS then. I had my revision surgery just 9 mos. ago with Dr. Bridwell in St. Louis. Every day gets a little better, but I am now dealing with some pain in my hip, which we will address when I go to see him next week. It's good to talk to someone from the old hometown. Every time I go back to Norwalk, I can't believe how much things have changed. You mentioned Stew Leonard's. I love it! That was not there when I left Norwalk, but now we go every time we go back there. Well, I've rambled on long enough. It's just good to reminise with someone from the " old neighborhood " Nan
Guest guest
Hi Nan, What is interesting to me is how many of us are from that close geographical area. You may remember I went to Ellen Kileys yoga retreat last fall...and she is from Greenwich. Almost seems statistically improbable. Guest guest
Hi Nan, Cam and Jill, Originally I am from the Boston area. I moved to Norwalk in 1985. In my hometown highschool there were two other girls who had this surgery. Since moving to CT in 1985 I have met only one, but that was before I found this website. Also, I don't know how this site works. For example, I thought I had to make up a name so I am also foxtrott1234, but then I saw others using there real name so I have to change it to Diane M. Sincerely, Diane M. [ ] Re: New Members - Diane & Jill Hi Nan,What is interesting to me is how many of us are from that close geographical area.
