A Few Questions

Hi I have been on the list for about 10 days to two weeks, and there is so

much info going back and forth that I am still not clear on a few things.

What is " Arise and Shine " cleanse? It is often referred to on the list. What

is its primary purpose? (to rid oneself of parasites or just for general

health reasons). Where can I get detailed information on it? I am interested

in trying it.

How do you know if you have candida, parasites, or a tapeworm? What are the

symptoms? Are these common? Are they diagnosed by a doctor?

Sorry to seem so ignorant but I am just now trying to get myself on a

healthier

regime and thought joining the list would help with getting myself healthier

colon wise.

I just have a problem with chronic (on/off) constipation and for the past few

months am becoming pretty dependent on stool softeners/laxative combination.

(I have had this problem on/off throughout my life.)

I would like to get this under control. I guess I am becoming concerned about

colon cancer, diverticulitis etc. At my age (50's) you hear more and more

about those things happening to your peers.

My lifestyle changed totally and drastically around Oct 1998. The changes

and after effects have caused a lot of stress in my life. I am just

starting/trying to get back on track the past 2/3 months.

I have made an appointment for a colonic for after the holidays. This will

be a first for me. I had the mistaken notion that a colonic was a " cure " of

sorts and that if after that I followed a certain diet/exercise regime it

would correct the problems.

I realize now from following the posts on the list that this is not likely.

That there is a lot more to it.
