Right now I'm about 10 days behind but I did see Sue talking about a convention. Count me in nomatter where you have it. We do need a few good doctors there to answer some of these questions we constantly rehash. It really would be nice to get some sound answers and see what experts " see " for the future of this disease. I'm most anxious to do the convention and I'll help any way I can. Guest guest Posted July 29, 1999 Report Share Posted July 29, 1999 You may be able to get foights cheaper in the fall, but the hotel & motel rates usually stay about the same year round, because of the steady influx of people going to the clinic and the 2 hospitals there. I know that the Hampton Inn is a very nice motel, very clean and very comfortable, and pretty reasonable in price. My husband and I stay there whenever we go to Rochester. It is nice because I am only about 2 hours from there, I can drive to the convention!! I'm all for it. Sue if there is anything I can do, let me know. Lori C. My dad's the one that's ill, but it seems like it's my mom that's having the harder time coping with all the changes and the uncertainty. Some days I can't stand myself and if anything goes wrong, I take it out on the person closest to me. Being the spouse is a hard job without have a sick mate. It is a very special place and special people. I want to make sure you are aware that they have a Clinic and a Hospital also in sdale, AZ and have started doing multi-organ transplants here a couple of months ago.
