Dear Sue:

I'm all for it! Linie sent some info not to long ago about a PBC'ers

convention next year in Las Vegas, so why not a Liversupport convention? The

only problem with it is that travel is sometimes difficult depending on what

kind of shape you're in, but it's definitely something to think about.

I also think a convention would be great. But unlike PBC convention in Las

Vegas maybe it could be more centrally located so more people from the east

and midwest could attend.

When I travel I pace myself to do the things I want to do and skip the things

I know I can't do. I been to Las Vegas, three conventions with my husband in

the Wisconsin and Minnesota, to San Diego, and I plan on going to Montana in

September. I just take a day at a time and I can't see staying home because

I have AIH because I won't let it rule my life.

I get out a breath alot with the weight gain. I just slow down and rest more

when I walk. The convention would not be hard on you. What can a group of

people that have liver trouble do except sit and enjoy each others company

and learn more about each other.

JANELLE:

Rochester is a nice town. they have great hotels that have schuttles that

take you right to the Mayo Clinic. It would be nice that we could there.

The hotels are reasonable and there is alot of places to eat. They even have

a place that will bring you food from certain restraunts in town for a fee.

My sister & I use that alot because after a day of tests and sitting we don't

feel like going out at night. Or maybe we are just old. No she is just old.

She is 7 years older than me.

Is Las Vegas kinda a central location for everyone in the group? Or would that

be

possible to have a central location for everyone? I can get my sister-in-law to

come and speak, she is a pharmasist. My doctor has attended conventions and

was

a speaker once. Maybe he would do it for us...

We have to keep cooking this Idea....

Speaking of eating. I went and had my blood taken this morning and talked to

my doctor's nurse. Jeanne is two years older than me but I remember her from

school. She has had a weight problem all her life. I proceeded to tell her

about the week I had last week and would Doctor call me. I told her about

the doctor telling me I was fat. Well needless to say she was not a happy

camper because she is very sensative about her weight also. She said that

hers is a medical problem she has had all her life and she still has trouble

with the weight. She is going to have me talk to my Doctor this afternoon

when I go get the results of my blood test.

Sue,

You will have to buy me a ticket in your lotto over there. I need to win it

before I can come and have our convention.

Kathy,

I thought Australia would be an ideal place, weather is great, people are

lovely and I wouldn't have to wait til I won the lotto, bring a sleeping

bag and you can all stay at my house. Just south of the fabulous Gold

Coast.

Don,

I'm sure out of all us women we could find one that would be willing to

give you that much needed massage after driving to our convention.
