Guest guest
I have purchased it for a friend from now foods. You can get it in 25 lb bags at about $5.80 a pound or 5 lbs at $5.99 a pound. I could get it for you, but the shipping would really increase the price. I would call around first and see who carries NOW Foods brand and ask them to include some in their next order. My horse friend looked around in his area and couldn't find any cheaper, but you might also try horse supply places. By the way it worked great for his horse. He mixed it with some cooked oats and it really helped whatever was ailing his arabian. He suspected sand in the gut. Donna -----Original Message----- Hello All: New to this list. Live upon a show jumping horse farm & would like to know where to purchase psyllium in large bulk quanities to feed our horses. Very sandy soil here where the horses are prone to " sand colic " if their systems are not kept cleaned out upon a regular basis. Thanks in advance for your help! Guest guest
Thank you for the response. Searching the internet I have found it for $3.50 a pound out of California with very minimal shippping charges. Also have been contacting companies in India for prices on metric ton shipments.
