Guest guest
Hi Edith, I actually bought some unhulled barley at Whole Foods (a large health food store).... It was in one of the " bins " where you get bulk grains. I just bought a little bit and thought I'd see if it would sprout.... which I haven't tried yet (and would be more likely to try in spring, using dirt in a tray.... Unless I get Karma's basket method working! I'm trying it out now with wheat grass .) Anyway, Edith I can send you a little sample, and see if you like it. And if so then we can figure out about if it is worthwhile to have me ship you some... Moria p.s. Does your Dad eat the hull and all? It sounds like it, since you say it is blended. If so, I would want organic for sure. p.p.s. Whoops! I just checked .com and they DO sell unhulled barley. If you look under " grains " they have HULLED barley, and it says to see the " grasses " page for UNhulled. On the grasses page it doesn't specifically say it is UNhulled, but here is a link to that page: http://www..com/shopsite/buygrass.html You have to scroll down to find the barley.
