Guest guest
Hello Elyse, I can totally relate on the hunger issue you are talking about here with . Before I discovered Bee's plan, I was forever hungry no matter what I ate and nothing seemed to satisfy or take away the hungry feeling. Once I started on Bee's plan, and increased the amount of coconut oil I find I can be very satisfied, and I do not experience the hungry feeling anymore! The coconut oil was what really made the difference for me especially when I use it with vegetables and meat. I can consume up to 5 or 6 T or more of coconut oil per day now, with no problem. I have been on Bee's plan since March. I like to saute' vegetables with meat for breakfast. I saute' cabbage or french green beans, or assorted vegetables in butter, along with some little cubes of pre-cooked meat (beef, chicken, etc.) that I usually take out of the freezer. When it is done cooking, I put it in a bowl to eat, and while it is still hot I always stir in at least 1 T of coconut oil, along with fresh pressed garlic and celtic seasalt. I find this is VERY satisfying and I do not have the hungry feeling after I eat. I really think the coconut oil makes all the difference for me. The egg drink didn't satisfy me as much as a meal either, but for me it works great first thing in the morning before breakfast, (after the lemon and seasalt drink). Or in the late afternoon before dinner as a pick me up or even in the evening, if I want a little something before I go to bed. :-) When ever I have increased the amount of coconut oil, my weight drops a little more too. Like you, I am not overweight at this point, but I am on the high end of the scale for my height, and I feel better at maybe about 15 pounds lighter than I am now. The coconut oil also helps sustain me, so I seem to have more endurance for my daily activities. That is why I use the egg drink as a pick me up in the late afternoon. Hope this may help you discover what works best for you. :-D Debra NW ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi , I'm not obese, but I do need to lose some weight. The thing is I'm always hungry, so it would be difficult for me to gage ow much to eat by that. I've increased fats., if I'm to eat something else in the morning besides the egg drink, what else would be a good breakfast food? I don't want to make more eggs, because now and again I'll have a second egg drink in the day, and that would be too many eggs. elyse On 23-Jun-06, at 2:35 PM, Wittekind wrote: I don't feel full after having the egg drink either, and when you make it by the recipe, it's almost 700 calories. I SHOULD feel full with all that fat, but I don't. That being said, I can make an omelet out of 4 eggs and a tablespoon of coconut oil (and then fry it in a tablespoon of butter), and I can feel downright stuffed. Not sure what's up with that. Are you eating enough? Are you getting enough fat? Are you of average weight, or are you obese? (I ask because obese people simply need more calories, so that might also explain why you're hungry if that's your issue.) Fat is great for leaving us sated.
