Hi RI, It is certainly possible. Before my last surgery, I had

quite a bit of numbness and tingling in my heals, and especially in

the morning when I first stood up. I also had problems with my

fingers, usually my thumb and first two fingers, which did not help my

career as an Optician, trying to hold teeny tiny screws! I will say I

do not have it any longer in the heels and much less in the fingers,

even tho' I do have other complications. Perhaps if you look up a

dermatomes map of the spine and which vertabrae connect with the " toes

in question " it may be more clear if that is your problem. Personally

I can ONLY wear flat shoes now, tho' I do love shoes also... it is so

sad to bypass the heels and wedges and boots! If I wore heels, I'd be

kissin' the floor, I'd be so bent forward, I bet! - Marty in AZ

--- In , " valerie_delaney " ...I am a

shoe buff and I wear all kinds. Heels, mules, slingbacks, high heels,

kitten heels, flats whatever!! Bascially the second and third toe on

each foot. The second I stand up in the morning they feel funny!

Tingly, no pain, but tingly. Naturally, I am wondering if it is my

Flatback causing some sort of nerve damamge or could it be some other

sort of problem. So my question is, has anyone here every experienced

the same problem?
