When you get the "ingredients" for the zapper, instead of the copper pipes and 2 of the double-ended alligator clips, get 2 anti-static wrist straps with the stretchy wire cord. They snap on at the wrist and have an alligator clip on the other end. Radio Shack Static-Control Wrist Strap part number 276-2395 . If the rest of your zapper can be carried around, thiswill free your hands up! You'll need two of them and the ones I bought were $6.95 each.

's instructions have you punch the electronic parts through a shoebox lid and then store all the connecting stuff underneath the lid. This works, but the smaller the box you use the easier it is for you to fit the zapper in a pocket so you can walk around with it. Once you have the underside wires in place, gently, tape them all together in neatish bunches so they take up less room. I got a 3"H x 4" x 6" or so jewelry box at the dollar store and ripped out it's guts, cut my shoebox top down and fit it inside. Before I found out about the wrist straps there was even room to store the copper tubes.

You don't have to buy alligator clips if you solder the wires.

Hi Susie,

The directions for building the zapper are in Dr. s book "Cure for all diseases" The parts cost about $25.00 from radio shack. It is relatively simple to make, kind of time consuming. It takes about 4 hours to put one together. If you don't find the directions, let me know and I'll see if I can figure out how to get them to you.
