Guest guest
Perhaps I have not seen an Ace pack. Can you explain and tell me where you got it? I have a variety of gel packs that I keep in the freezer, but none of them are smaller than about 5X8ish. I generally rotate my belt from sitting on it to mid hip to thoracic wrap. If there is a simpler solution, I would love to hear it!
Guest guest
Kam, What you use sounds sounds like what I used...I bought them at a drugstore..same company that makes those elastic Ace bandages I think. Long and narrowish...I think you can use then to ice anything...an ankle..black eye...They have kind of a fabric shell so after they thaw a little they are pretty moldable. Here is a link to drugstore.com: http://www.drugstore.com/qxp13415_332828_sespider/ace/cold_compress_reu sable.htm I think this is a bigger size but you should be able to find them at any drugstore. I think I remember that my support brace indicated that it was either for lumbar or s-l joint stability....the top of it fit just about waist level and the bottom of it just at the top of my legs so it covered the top half of my butt....then I would slip the gel pack kind of the long way down between my underwear and the brace just along the top/outer edge of the piriformis. Between the celebrex and ice I could do okay most days...sometimes I just had to travel with my gel packs in a cooler! Hope this helps...Cam
