Hello Group... Since the subject of cars has come up in the past I thought it would be a good idea to share with you that after MUCH searching, I have found a vehicle that works for me... It is a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan - it has Dual Heated, Reclining, Power, Front Seats (ahhh)... We finally have a vehicle that we all fit in and can ride together as a family without the kids feeling squished in the back seat!! I know all of our back are different, but who knows - I'm hoping that there may be just 1 person that this will help?!?! Take care & HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Ken.

I have a full-size Ford Chalet van, since I have to accommodate my brother's powerchair and wheelchair lift. Though it still rides like a truck, it is still more comfortable than our car. I believe the angle of the seats makes a difference, too. I find climbing up into the van far easier than dropping down into the car, then trying to get up. Less head bumping, too.

Congrats, Ken!

I recently got a little SUV (Honda CRV) partly because of all the flatback discussion about trucks, vans, and SUVs being better for those of us with long fusions. I also wanted the cargo space for my gardening. The seats are more comfortable than a sedan, and it's easier to get in and out of. The only drawbacks are that the seats don't go back very far (I have long legs), and the ride is a bit bumpy. Maybe new shocks would help. I'll ask my mechanic.
