Guest guest
Hi Lia, Sorry to hear that you're not responding to the meds. I'm in a similar situation to you although I was diagnosed a year earlier, in Aug '99. The dreaded word " transplant " has been mentioned to me, but no arrangements made yet for tests, so don't know about withdrawing Imuran before the tests. What you say about the Imuran is interesting, though ....... I also have a big stomach. I keep asking the doctor why, but he says it all feels normal. Have you actually asked the doctor about Ascites? Is that why you're taking diuretics? If you find out how to get rid of the big tum, please let us know. Good luck with everything, Bozena > Message: 13 > Date: Mon, 1 Oct 2001 19:50:36 -0700 (PDT) > From: lia <ldm_12@...> > Subject: verge of a transplant??? > > Hello, > > Well, I had my 2nd liver biopsy a couple of weeks ago, > and my doctors said there is really no sign of > improvement in my condition.
