Thank you for this info I will ask about this when I'm going back next Tuesday. Sylvana [ ] Sylvana Dear Sylvana: It is good that they have identified what is going on with you and that you can start treatment soon! Please do not lose hope! My Mother is battling Hodgkin's lymphoma right now and I understand that Imuran is part of the chemo 'cocktail' that they use. I believe that prednisone is used, too. It might even be that the chemo could be benificial to the liver disease in that the powerful immunosuppressants can help to keep it in check. I came across this poem not too long ago and have been sharing it with people who are going through troubling times: Faith, Hope and Love Faith lit a candle in the night and set it for my soul to see, Hope whispered courage to my heart and shod my feet and girded me; but it was Love that showed the way that held my hand and walked with me. But I want to tell you about a lady who has had breast cancer pop-up for 12 years. She has had it 2 times in her liver and the chemo-therapy made it go away. Imuran is is a form of Chemo-therapy so they will just give you different ones. . Her mother is in my club and just reported that the tumors in the liver and 1 other place went away and her daughter is so well that the parents went on a long trip.
