LOL....sometimes I feel the same way. We can't give up everything that

gives us pleasure because (in my opinion only) that detracts from our

individual quality and life.

,

I have no idea if there is any relationship or not because I am lactose intolerant and rarely eat dairy products, but I have a friend who has chronic pancreatitis and he swears that dairy products will cause him to have an attack. He says if he drinks a glass of milk he can plan on a trip to the ER. Ask your doctor, because as I have said I have no idea if this is true or not but he says it is for him.

,

Thanks for the info. However, I've had lots of milk and ice cream since having the last two attacks that I had the end of May/beginning of June. Anything that has a high fat content is bad for people with pancreatitis but I only drink lowfat milk and the ice cream I eat is lowfat, too. About the only thing I can say for sure has been the cause of several acute panc attacks is stress. We can relate several attacks to me getting major stressed over something.

I did go through a period where milk bothered me for a few months after my gastric bypass, but it caused major cramps in my lower abdomen, not at all like the pain with my acute panc attacks.

I just told my hubby that since we know that stress has brought on some of my attacks, he just needs to always do what I want him to do. He should never, ever tell me no when I want to spend money. so on and so forth - he thought that was pretty funny and told me 'fat chance'! Dang it - I thought I had a good shot at always having my way!

My mother is the same way, shes lactose intolerant as well, which she

wasnt until she was diagnosed with fibormyalgia(sp?)...all dairy

products send her into terrible pain and stomach upset.

Hi Bee,

I am on this diet for 6 weeks now.

I don't hv anymore die off symtoms & feeling more energetic. My rosacea

hv calm down a lot. I no longer feel bloated from antifungals

treatments.

Do you hv any recipe to make icecream with stevia? Is it too early for

me to inplement fruits & icecream in my diet?

,Good new on your progress,I think it is way too early, you

could lose everything you've gained and have to start all over again.

There are 4 parts to this program, no way you could do it in 6

weeks. Antifungals are only part 3, probiotics aren't until Part 4,

have you gotten to that yet?

How much coconut oil are you having per day? YOu need to get to 5

TBSPns efore even doing the other antifungals.

, when I lived in Southeast Asia, our cooks would grate a fresh

coconut finely, add boiling water, let it set a few minutes, then

squeeze the coconut cream (santan) out of the coconut by placing it in a

clean dish towel and wringing it. They would repeat the process a

couple of times.

They'd add sugar and sometimes cinnamon and brown the leftover coconut

in the oven for a snack. They used the santan to make curries, soups,

and desserts including the yummiest ice cream. Here's an easy way for

you to make it:

Use two cans of coconut cream. Add the grated rind of a lime and your

preferred sweetener. Make it a little extra sweet since cold foods need

extra sweetener to taste sweet. Pour the mixture into a flat tray. We

used to use the old fashioned metal ice trays. Place it in the freezer

section of your fridge and stir every 30 minutes until it's of ice cream

consistency. It's perfect for entertaining in the back yard or around

the pool.
