Guest guest
and I am thinking it went well... He showed me on my Cspine MRI where the arthritis is pushing on my nerves and explained that is why I am in so much pain. He explained that they do not like to do fusion once somebody has already had it, but that if the pain can not be resolved that is a solution. Told me they would fuse me from C4-C7 and remove the discs and add metal plates ( might be wrong terminology) and I explained to him about my concerns about flatback - he looked back (I have not seen him in 3 years) and was like oh I did diagnose you with Flatback (but, I believe this was before he too newer xrays and determined I did not_.... Anyway, plan of action is to go to Pain Mgmt clinic for Cervical Epidurals and see how that does for me. If the pain is still too much then I will go back and now I will have new xrays to see if I do have flatback and indeed need more surgery than just the Cspine surgery... Although I felt he was a little slow to the old info - I did feel like it was more of a problem with his staff and not him. So, that is where I am now.... Any input as always is great!
