Guest guest
Hello everyone, I have an interesting story to tell. About 26 or 27 years ago, I accidently slammed my left thumb in a car door. Hurt like heck, BTW. Well, it happned to damage the nail bed quite a bit. I didn't know it at the time, but a friend about 10 years later said that if I had stuck a pin into the nail when I had hurt it and it swelled up, then that would had released the pressure and would have possibly have made the nail grow normal again. Well, for many, many years, my thumb nail has grown strange. I could never paint it because it looked terrible. Actually looked more terrible than it does now. I had terrible waves through it, starting from the bed going upward, and those waves had a greenish-yellowish color to them. I had asked the doctor years ago if there was something that he could do, like remove the nail and maybe that would make it grow normal. He looked at it and said, " There's nothing that you can do once you damage the nail bed. We can't do anything with it. " Well, since i start on Dr. Cabot's diet this last year, for the first time my nails have started to grow since about 20 years ago. I couldn't believe the strength that they were. They never growed like that before. It's crazy, I don't care if I have long nails or not, but they're growing like crazy and strong for the first time in my life. Then after about eight weeks of her diet, I started adding lots of garlic to my diet. I would juice it, have more in veggies, etc. She states in one of her books about how garlic kills many parasites, kills bad yeast, is a wonderful natural antibiotic, etc. It also kills many fungi in our bodies. Guess what, everyone! For the first time in 26 or 27 years my stupid thumb nail is straightening out. It no longer has the green/yellowish color to it. No more waves running from the nail bed to the top. The top part is a little wavy, but you can tell it's about healed since the old part is growing off. My husband looked at it the other day, and said, " Wow, what has happend to your thumb, it looked bad ever since we've been married. " BTW, we were married 25 years in July 23rd. Well, I know that eating all that garlic has done it, believe me. I've had another positive thing or two happen to me eating lots of fresh garlic. I passed a strange looking thingie in my poop about the 2 or 3 week after eating 4 to 6 cloves of garlic per day. I passed a whittish-net looking thing that was wrapped around my bowel movement. I don't think that it was a parasite, but maybe it was yeast. I've always had problems with yeast infections throughout the years. That's the only thing that I can figure. Another positive thing, one of my kitties bit me on the ankle when I accidently stepped on his tail. This was back severa months ago. Well, it was a pretty deep bite, to say the least. I hobbled around for several days because of the soreness. The night before I went to the doctor, it had a large red streak coming up from it. I had forgotten that I probably needed a what-you-call-it shot. Sorry, can't think of the name of the shot now that you're supposed to get every 10 years or so. The next morning, all the red was gone. But I went ahead and got the shot anyway since I live in the country. Another thing, since I eat a high amount of garlic, I have not had one cold this last winter. Not one, even though my daughter brought one home from school and work, I haven't had one. I just think this is interesting. So y'all better continue eating and drinking your garlic. I firmly believe it's a very wonderful and powerful healer for us.
