Guest guest
Hi all! I just joined because I believe I have hypothyroidism. I am 54 and for the past year and a half have been in almost constant soft tissue (non joint) pain and general fatigue. So much so that my regular doctor presribed Bextra and Hydrocodone for the pain. Blood work for arthritis came back negative, but here are some interesting findings from the blood work Glucose was 121 range 75-109 HIGH Bun was 25 range 7-18 HIGH sTSH was .72 range .35-5.50 low end free T4 was 1.0 range .8-1.8 quite low My endocrynologist did not prescribe or diagnose anything from these findings. I have been reading online and I believe I could benefit from " Levothryoxine " . Am I correct in my thinking that I do have Hypothyroidism and that this drug could help me? Are there any websites, finding, observations, treatments, herbs, etc, that could begin to help me now? I don't think my doctors consider my condition to be slam dunk diagnosed as hypo. I think they are wrong. appreciate your comments norton
