Guest guest
HI Anita!!Glad to see ya!! When I was first put on thyroid they started me on .050 T4 and then when I tested again they put me on .075 T4.I would feel better for about three weeks and then worse again, until I was put on the combo.so you can try upping the T4 and it may help you and then go for the combo if it doesn't help. Some people are fine on just T4.I am a true believer in T4/T3. Guest guest
Charmaine I get copies of every test I take. It is my right and I get outright obnoxious if they don't comply. I have even threatened to report them to my insurance company. Then I get them. LOL! You should see the file I have on all of my tests. In fact today I had a bit of a problem. I called the lab and they told me my last test for Bile Acids was sent to the doctor. I waited all day again and then finally just went there and insisted to get a copy. I was so shocked because the bile acids were 20 with a range of 0 to 8. The doctor never spoke to me about this or anything. I did start my new meds today. Has anyone ever had high bile acids with thyroid problems? I have no idea what made my cholesterol so high and now the bile acids. I will try and watch my diet better and exercise and see what happens in 3 months when I am retested. Deneen sorry I got your name wrong in my previous post. So I feel very rattled again today.
