Guest guest
I haven't heard of the salt being in capsules. I have to check that out. I also had to stop the saltwater drink because my body couldn't swallow it after a while. I literally didn't make it out of the kitchen and was 'giving-it-back' in the sink. Ugh, really frustrating because I loved using it occasionally to 'clean-out' quickly. Please post if you use this and what brand, as I will be looking it up on Google soon. Also does anybody know where I can get uniodised (uniodized for our North American friends) in the UK or Ireland? Would appreciate help on this!! Guest guest
Hazelpone Actually, drinking salt water and then throwing it up is a yogic cleansing technique. However, do it in the morning before eating. It is good for anything above chest level diseases. GB > > I haven't heard of the salt being in capsules. I have to check that out. Guest guest
From what I have read, it is important for the salt to be dissolved in warm water before you take it, putting it in capsules defeats the purpose as it doesn’t get into the system the same way as taking it in warm water. salt in capsules Hi! For those of you who put your Celtic salt in capsules, can you do it in advance? Does the moisture make the gel cap melt? How far in advance can you make them? A day? A week? I just put salt in the palm of my hand and throw it in my mouth like my pills, and most of the salt lands beyond my tastebuds, especially the coarse stuff. But my family doesn't like that, and I think I am seeing the need for my children to do some salt loading. So trying the capsule idea for them. Thanks! Guest guest
It never occurred to me that you couldn't cap them up in advance, & I made a whole big jar a week or 2 ago. So far, so good.AnneOn Feb 16, 2010, at 5:50 AM, Donna Iler wrote: Hi!For those of you who put your Celtic salt in capsules, can you do it in advance? Does the moisture make the gel cap melt? Guest guest
Well, my choices are to take it in capsules or not get it at all. I simply cannot tolerate drinking salt water. Believe me, I have tried.AnneOn Feb 16, 2010, at 8:06 AM, Kathleen Blake wrote: From what I have read, it is important for the salt to be dissolved in warm water before you take it, putting it in capsules defeats the purpose as it doesn’t get into the system the same way as taking it in warm water. salt in capsules Hi!For those of you who put your Celtic salt in capsules, can you do it in advance? Guest guest
I make up a whole bag of celtic salt at a time. It's probably about 250 capsules and they keep like any other supplement in capsule form. Engtovo From: Donna Iler Sent: Tuesday, February 16, 2010 6:50 AM iodine Subject: salt in capsules Hi! Guest guest
Thanks Anne and Engtovo! I will make a bunch. It is a lot easier than remembering to do it every day. I just thought the damp salt might make them melty. Guest guest
I buy the coarse salt and crush it or grind it to a finer consistency. That way, I can get pack more salt into a single capsule and reduce 6 capsules of coarse salt to 4 capsules of finely ground salt. Less capsules to swallow is good, if you ask me. Guest guest
I have to drink lots of water with the salt capsules or else it makes me nauseous. I also make up capsules in advance.~W
