My cortisol was 18.4 (range 3.1-22.4)

My ACTH Plasma was 55 (range 6-48)

The doctor said my cortisol was fine, never said anything about the

ACTH being out of range. I didn't get a copy of the results until

the appointment was over so I didn't get a chance to ask about the

ACTH.

I only slept 4 hours the night of the test, and probably not much

more the previous nights, I'm not sure how that would impact the way

the levels naturally fluctuate.

I do feel stressed out a lot, lol, I'm working on that, and I am

definately depressed.

My TSH is low .8, I still have never had any T3 test.

I am reading " The Thyroid Solution "

So far, if I'm understanding correctly, he said it is rare for T3 not

to be converted properly from T4, but also that people with

depression who don't benefit from antidepressants do well with T3,

sometimes in addition to antidepressants.

Also, that the mild depression experienced with hypothyroidism should

subside with T4 treatment alone, but if the hypothyroidism went

undetected for too long and your depression is more developed you may

need antidepressants for a while. Have I got that right? I can only

read in small time periods (because of children, and my sleepiness)

and I worry about my comprehension lol.

My somewhat elevated adrenal tests could mean too much stress,

depression, skipping meals, not getting enough sleep... all those

conditions apply... I'm working on it lol.

Adrenal fatigue means my levels would be low right?
