Guest guest
Hi, everyone, I just found out that my brother in law, who lives in Little Rock, Arkansas, has been diagnosed with a vestibular schwannoma. From what he and my sister said and what I've picked up on the internet in the past half an hour, he needs a good otologist and maybe a neurosurgeon. Does any one have a recommendation? He certainly could go to St. Louis, or Memphis or where ever. I did tell him that some of you recommended doctors in Nashville and will check to see if I've saved those messages. Thanks for any help you can give. I know this is a little off our topic, but, since the need is for a similar specialist, I thought you wouldn't mind. Thanks le

Guest guest
, I love it. You have a great presence about you. Happy Hearing! It is often hard to find a surgeon that considers his patients to be people first and body parts that need surgery second. I have had surgery several times and I look hard to find a surgeon that doesn't have a swollen ego and can reassure me by answering my questions without making me think I'm questioning his superior talents. Best of luck in finding a better surgeon. in SC

Guest guest
- Myrna, Dr. Gavin Dry, Evergreen Hospital presented at the Seattle Winter Bash. Besides being an excellent speaker, several of his banded patients showed off their plastic surgery results. You might want to consider his practice. One of his patients is Kate Lampi. If you go to photos on the left side of this screen, click onto her before weight loss and after surgery pic. WOW. Good luck, joanne in seattle. -- In , " Guenhwyvar " <guenhwyvar4@...> wrote: > > Greetings all - > > I have lost 95 pounds with my band, now it's time for a breast reduction and > abdominoplasty. Guest guest
> Hi there. My name is Suz. I lost 135 pounds since being banded in July 2002 and recently had abdominoplasty in January 2006 by Dr. Partington in Redmond.. I had a great experience with my surgery and was very happy with Dr. Partington and his staff. If you would like his contact information, send me an email. I just updated my photo album in this group with some new pictures. My folder is called: " Lean14. " The last picture taken in the Nurse costume is post tummy tuck! Good luck! Guest guest
Hi all, I think the conversations that flows here about " top surgeons " verses the " not so well known " surgeons is not really the point, is it? Those of us that have been through revision, knowing the extent and the precision and expertise it requires ONLY want to make sure that those pending, or searching for a surgeon make the best possible decision regarding surgeons. We only want to make sure you are in the best hands possible. We want you to consider all things in your decision making process. After all, we want you to have the best doctor because we care that the results are for the rest of your life. If you do choose an unknown or not well known doctor and have a successful experience then great, we can add another recommendation to the list but please, we only want you to make the absolute best decision, possible for your situation. We are advocates for research, as knowledge is a great tool. Second opinions as approaches are different. Have the right equipment for a successful recovery. Getting a qualified and expert surgeon and not making an emotional, needy decision. Having a good support process in place. Most of all successful revisions. Take care,
