This group is really full of information. Wish I would have known all this 2

tears ago when I had my amalgum taken out and replaced with crowns.

But the inside of crowns are also metal. Does that have the same effect on

your body as amalgum.

Does anyone know.Sure can't afford to do it all again.

During the process no precautions were taken at all and I got a lot of

mercury in my system from 12 fillings.

Would appreciate any feedback.

Thank you

Christel

That was great info you gave for detoxing. I was also going to add that I

heard something about make sure the dentist not only protects himself but

also the patient. Something about a mask or something. Did anyone else hear

about that before or see that on tv.......Tonya

What specifically changed for you?

I am having my amalgam fillings replaced on Tuesday (yay!) and have

no idea how I'm going to react, or if it's going to make much of a

difference at all. I have heard stories of amazing recovery after

amalgam removal, but someone told me recently that many people get

better and then get sick again. Have any of you heard this?

You MUST go on a detoxification program following amalgam removal. This

would involve doing things that will specifically target moving the mercury,

copper, nickel and whatever dental materials are released out of your body

for a continuous period of time. The biggest reason people get sick again

is because they have not continued to actively detoxify. Heavy metals do

not all come out at once--it takes a period of time.

You might want to look into doing chelation therapy using DMSA. You might

also want to do a long series of colonics and enemas. You may want to avoid

seafood for a period of time. You will probably want to increase your

consumption of fruits and vegetables and increase the percentage of raw

foods.

You may also want to look into getting an IV of Vitamin C during the amalgam

removal process, as Vitamin C is effective at moving mercury on out and

strengthening your connective tissue and speed healing. I had an IV of 25

grams of Vitamin C (hooked up during the removal process, not before), at a

reasonable cost of $75.

DMSA, the preferred chelating agent for mercury, is normally prescription

only, but there are 2 websites that I know of that sell this in 100 mg

capsules at a very reasonable cost.

Allow a period anywhere from 6 months to 2 years for complete detoxification

and cellular healing and rejuvenation.

I read that the dentist should give you oxygen while the procedure is

ongoing and also use a tent to protect things from being swallowed.

And Christel, we've been screwed twice by uninformed doctors....beware the

men in white coats!)

Patty

Patty, we should write a book about the men in white coats. We were fine

before they got their hands on us.

Thanks for you valuable information. There is no way I can afford to redo

this right now, we are talking about 12 crowns total. I still owe big bucks

from the last disaster we have in common.

I will get DR Huggins book you mentioned. What is the title and where do I

get it?

Thanks again Patty.

Oh, no!!!!! I have had a number of fillings done in Mexico, plus a CROWN!!

No telling what metals have been used, and I can't afford to have anything

done about it!!!! Could be a reason my memory is really poor, for 46 years

old? I don't know where to turn, now.

Thanks Patty.

The dentist in WPB did all the newest techniques, tested the body first,

works with holistic medicine etc etc.

Guess what? They are trying to shut him down.

Get this Christel--the titles of the books are " Uninformed Consent " (Gee,

where have I heard THAT before?????) and " It's All in Your Head " (Gee,

another one of those weird platitudes....) The books are very eye opening

and comprehensive. Hal Huggins will become one of your dental heroes.

They run around $14.95, look it up on Amazon.com, and I am sure your local

bookstore can order them for you as well.
