To be honest I don't know. The B12 problem that I had is on going and now

I'm at the point where I have to take monthly injections. I'm going to pursue

this with my gastroenterologist. My appointment is in early June so I won't

know until then. I do know that a few a my doctors were puzzled. They even went

as far as giving me a malabsorption and celiac sprue test which both turned

out negative. I also found out in the last year that my ferritin levels are at

the very low end of normal as well as my vitamin D levels. Now I'm also on a

prescription strength vitamin D. Low levels of vitamin D can leave you with

feelings of muscle aches depression etc. I'm not endorsing self dosing with

vitamin D as that can be dangerous. The only way you can tell if you're low is

by getting a 25OHD test done. This is a good website www.krispin.com She's

a clinical nutritionist. Scroll down to the link that says sunlight and

Vitamin D. She also has a lot of info about the thyroid.

I have read about the Yersinia bacteria in a few different places

too.

What I don't understand is, if you were exposed to it more than 3

years ago would it still be in your body and treatable?

I have had food poisoning from undercooked pork, so I was really

curious about this, but at the same time afraid to even bring it up

to my doctors (I have Hashi's).
