Question, has anyone taken juices to work in something like a thermos bottle to drink later? Have you done it over an extended period of time. Don't flood me with " can't do that sort of thing " unless you have personal knowledge of trying it and failing . So I would get up every morming, make 32 to 40 oz carrot/apple juice, drink 8 oz then and put the rest in 8 oz containers. Put ice in my little igloo luch pail and my juices. At break, lunch etc, would open up one and dump in a TB of barleygreen. I started getting better then would have a terrible healing crissis but continued on. All my hair grew back in about 8 months but other things took longer. YES...it can be done. Edith
Guest guest
Ed, I have taken carrot juice with me. Put vit C in it when you do. Christel
Guest guest
Hi Ed! When we juice we put the extra into small canning jars filled all the way to the top to keep as much oxygen out as possible. My husband takes them to work sometimes. They have a tendency to spill or leak, so they need to be wrapped up tightly. A thermos would work as long as you can fill it all the way up. Carrot or beet juice would stain it pretty badly, though. Guest guest
Also, those juices are really fragile, so the colder you can keep them and the sooner you can drink them the better. Marsha <>{

Guest guest
Ed. I bring 4 cups of apple carrot juice to work each day. I like it best when I use at least 4 medium size apples. I like the idea of Vitamin C. Ken Re: Re: Juicing-storing juices > Ed, I have taken carrot juice with me. I think it helped me get while as much as the juicing did. Edith
