Guest guest
hi. i was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and my doctor wants to start me on meds if my levels are still the same in 30 days. (TSH is 5.91 and FT4 is 0.61) friday i started using 2-3 tbsp of coconut oil per day, i stopped eating tofu and soymilk, cabbage, and flaxseeds/flaxseed oil. i'm hoping that these dietary changes will help my thyroid levels so that i won't have to go on meds. can anyone tell me how effective these dietary changes have been with your own thyroid levels? also, how long before you started to see results as far as an improvement in symptoms? thanks in anvance for responding.
