Guest guest
Hi, . EMG is Electromyography. Yeah, I'm a bit scared. They stick needle electrodes in your muscles and have you flex them. I believe they're doing the leg muscles. When I was in his office I didn't know he definitely wanted me to have this done, though he mentioned it. I wish I could remember who related her experience with EMG. I don't even remember if it was here or in the old group. It didn't sound fun at all. Has anyone else here had an EMG? Guest guest
Hi Sharon, I remember having one wayyyy back. It was really not painful. Just small pinches, then twitches and we were done. Good luck..it will be fine.. > >> > >> , you certainly have been on a wild ride! > >> > >> I just heard from Hillary yesterday regarding a couple of tests > > Dr. Rand > >> wants me to have. Guest guest
Hi Sharon... I had one a long time ago. I remember it as being sort of aggravating because it went on for so long. I'm not at all afraid of needles, and they usually don't bother me. But, I remember thinking that I wanted to punch the doctor. So, though it wasn't extraordinarily painful, I was certainly glad when it was over. Regards, > > Hi, . > > EMG is Electromyography. Yeah, I'm a bit scared. Guest guest
Thanks, . If I end up feeling like I want to punch the doctor, I'll feel completely vindicated. :^) Sharon PS: Was it in your legs?
