Guest guest
Melinda, Great news about your check up. And I am glad to hear you are permitted to move around a little in the water now. If nothing else, early on, I just liked floating around and moving my arms a little. I felt very " touched out " from the surgery...so I liked that free floating/ freeing feeling. I also liked using the aquajogger while I was floating/sculling along because it made me feel supported a little more in the lumbar area. It's great that you have the resource of a heated pool with a ramp...lucky girl! Great idea about the disabilty. I wonder if it would be a pre-existing condition for anyone now thinking about getting it? Remember you still have a long way to go, so take it easy! Guest guest
Melinda, Let me know how your first water adventur goes. My pool had " Jogger " vests for the deep water aerobic classes, but anyone is free touse them at other times. Hopefully you will not have to invest while you are trying it out. They can be bought on line for fairly short $$$. I used mine for about the first year. Even when I swithched from work it the vertical to swimming, I liked the body position the belt kept me in while swimming until I developed enough upper body strength.
