Edith,

You know, I stopped drinking veggie drinks years ago because of a sensitive

stomach and gallbladder. Each time I would drink anything 'green', I would

get sick (gallbladder attack, stomach pain) and so I stopped.

Now that I have done 2 successful gallbladder flushes, I am ready to start

taking green drinks.

I just saw a woman at my multiple chemical sensitivities group that looked

so healthy that I had to ask her what she was doing. Well, the first thing

that came out of her mouth was green drinks! She even started drinking one

at the meeting. But even the smell of the drink she was drinking made me a

little nervous! I wonder if that was parasites or bacteria talking!?!?!?

Anyway, I want to start, I am very excited, but a little nervous about the

cleansing reactions. But I guess it is better to do it now, while I am on

leave and see what happens. Hopefully it will be all good.

Supposedly there is information in Prescription for Nutritional Healing, so

I will start there, and the net, of course!

God bless,

KJ

KJ,

Yea...they are pretty powerful but made this way, they are not over whelming.

I used to do the straight green but it was too much so finally went back to

carrot with barleygreen.

I also suffered from MCS...where do you find people to meet with?

This is a terrible disease but I am tons better. Five yrs ago, I couldn't

go to Lowe's or the nursery section at any store because of the

chemicals.....I would be sick the rest of the day. Once I went to a

meeting held in a building that used gas. On the way home I became deathly

ill.

The fumes will just lay you out but I'm sure you have felt and still

feel this way. There is liver involvement...over taxed with all the

chemicals.

I'm doing a lemonwater on the hr and distilled water on the half hour to

restore

my liver....2 green drinks in the AM and 2 carrots in the afternoon

with green in them. Of course lots of colon cleanser to sweep out the poisons

really gives the liver a boost.

I've only done one liver/gallbladder flush and I don't feel it was very

successful.

Think I'll be much better when do a couple more.

To Health!!

I did all of those....there were times I was just so sick and a castor oil

pack over

the liver worked wonders. You really learn by experience. Wish I had kept

a journal. I remember just running to the bathroom and throwing up green

bile.

I was so worried that some awful thing was happening when in reality,

this is a healing crissis showing the body chemistry is changing so

all the juicing etc I did really paid off.

I never use protein powder. I make milk out of a combination of

soaked almonds. pine nuts and fresh coconut. I squeeze this thru mesh.

My tests show my digestive juices are weak...that's why I do the

lemonwater on the hr and water on the half hr. Builds the liver function

so no matter what you eat after you get it where it should be, you can digest

it (within reason of course)

We just need to hang in there and keep on keeping on ;~)

This stuff is delicious. I have never liked milk and my mom said I quit

breast feeding at 6 mo and wouldn't drink milk in a bottle and the only

way I used it was over cereal. I've tried the soy without sugar and I don't

like it or the rice milk etc that one can purchase. But I like this.

I use 1/2 cup soaked almonds, part of a coconut and some pine nuts.

Put in blender with cup warm water. Keep adding water until you used

1 qt or more depending how thick you like it. Add a touch of

vanilla....I had it over my cooked cereal this AM with black strap

molasses, wheat germ, and Brewers Yeast on top.and fruit.

If you feel that there is liver involvement, coffee enemas and/or castor oil

Hi Diane,

Thanks for your testimony and recipe!

I used to do enemas, but my colon is so spastic and unpredictable, I am

hesitant to start one. Maybe one with coffee will do the trick, I will

think on it. The castor oil packs are looking much better to me!

By the way, when I stopped drinking milk, I used brown rice milk because I

never did like the taste of soy milk.

God bless,

KJ

Hi Edith,

I am in Michigan, and after years of suffering, found out about an MCS group

called MCS Friends. We have a website at :

www.mihometown.com/oe/mcssupport.

I am not sure if we have it yet, but there might be links to other groups

around the country.

I agree that you learn by experience. Unfortunately, since most doctors

don't know what to do with us, we have to figure it out for ourselves.

Thank God for the Internet!

I have a friend that cannot go to many stores, I will tell her about the

castor oil packs and see what she says. I am also going to tell her about

the reaction you had, just in case! That testimony sounds scary, but after

the gallbladder flush, I think I can do anything!

1. Did throwing up the bile hurt?

2. How long did you do the juicing before you started the castor oil packs?

I now always have lemon water in my house and try to start each day off with

it. I don't have any tests for my digestive juices, but I do have gastritis

(inflammation of the stomach or duodenum) so I get acid up a lot. I was

told that acid comes up because there is not enough acid to digest the food.

So that is why I started the lemon water. Fortunately, I really like it.

I journal my symptoms daily now. I wish I had before, but I was off and on.

The last 4 months I have been very faithful and it really does help. I

found out how much the prescription drugs were affecting me in a subtle way.

Thanks for the milk recipe.

God bless,

KJ

No, nor was I sick ...it just came up and I did feel better afterwards.

This is called moving out stagnant bile. The body has the ability

to do this work only after we have given it the proper nutrition long

enough to build the energy to perform such house cleaning.

I stand in AWE of the way we are created.

I started the castor oil packs as soon as I read about them. I did not

have a computer then and had a very demanding factory job. I just

read lots of books and listened to tapes on health. The main reason

I juiced was becaused I had a terrible digestive problem and almost everytime

I ate, I was in terrible pain and and would feel bad for days. I was 3 yrs

from retirement but almost lost my job because of my health. I juiced

because I had watched a tape several yrs earlier by Malkmus

on how he recoverd from colon cancer.

I made a qt of juice and put it in 8oz containers and took to work each day.
