Where do get your oxygen? I don't know of a medical place in the

USA that would sell to just anyone. Do you live in Cuba?

I can appreciate your concern. My research regarding Ozone's medical uses left me with the feeling that a unit which sits on a shelf and produces ozone from air which has oxygen, nitrogen and some other gases was not the way to go about it. The reason is in that those types of machines produce more than just ozone. They also produce nitric oxide which when it is breathed is an acid that effects the lungs when it turns to an acid with contact to moisture. I had an article from the EPA which covered this topic quite well but lost it due to a virus wiping my drive clean. It may still be available at the EPA site by using their search engine and seeking information on air cleaners.

Medical grade oxygen which is used for insufflations and other medical uses differs in that it is, for one, produced from oxygen which is even more pure than you would get from a welders tank of oxygen. It has very very small amounts of other gases in it's mix and is usually considered close to 99% pure, or better. The ozone is then infused into the rectum, where unlike the lungs there is no damage to the lining and then is absorbed by the blood vessels and goes almost directly to the liver by way of the Portal vein. This then will provide oxygenated blood that is deadly to organisms that can't exist in healthy levels of oxygen. Then too, as an oxidizer it is able to break down some toxins so that the liver can then remove them more easily. So it is also to be considered an oxidant. As an oxidant more intake of vitamin C I think would be a good idea along with greater amounts of water.

The oxygen is passed by or through a means of electrical discharge which then causes the some of the oxygen molecules to bond with others and therefore produces the oxidant ozone. When used for medical purposes it has the ability to provide elevated levels of oxygen to the body's tissues and help in the healing process of the cells as well as kill parasites and break down toxins. One topical applicant for healing is olive oil which has been ozoneated to a thickened but very healing and expensive mix. I was given some of this for the purpose of helping to heal sever burns on my wrist. It along with magnets got me healed pretty quick.

If you need more information to satisfy your thirst for knowledge it is available. Heck, there's going to be a big convention in Cuba regarding ozone and it's medical uses around the world with various speakers from Germany, the US, the Netherlands; etc. I would imagine that if it is documented then the speakers there will be providing quite a bit of insight. I can even send you a mix of articles that are in a PDF format. It is just under one megabytes in size and called Fast.pdf. Fast means "Foundations for Alternative Science and Technology" and was put together in 1996.

ok, i am a little confused and concerned. i will also admit to beinguneducated on the subject of ozone and it's uses. i thought we were justtalking about internal uses of ozone. now the mention of ozone hurting thelungs and being used after a fire, being dangerous to humans and animals? ihave to ask for some clarification.i own a cattery and several of my cats live in the house with us (in theirown rooms.) they are hairless so there is no flying cat hair, but because ofmy concern with dust mites, bacteria, mold, yeast, fungi and yes, odors; ipurchased an ozone air cleaning machine. i understood that ozone was a 3atom form of oxygen that will either revert to oxygen or oxidize existingpollutants because of it's unstability. i thought that it took an extremelyhigh level of ozone to be harmful.we keep our machine running constantly and sleep upstairs where the machineis located. i have children. i thought i was cleaning the air and making myhome more healthy without chemicals. again, i plead my ignorance in thismatter, could someone please clarify?thanks, julie m. You're right about the gas known as oxygen in medical form but, I'm not a Cuban, nor do I live there. It's a shame that it's so tricky to get medical grade oxygen but as a researcher I seem to be able to find my way through some of the walls. As a researcher you can usually buy many things that the 'average' person can't seem to acquire. There is a federal law that allows researchers to buy products for personal research and is therefore often not sold to the general public. One such product is the Black Box by Bob Beck, also known as the Zapper. It is sold as a research product that has to be final assembled by the researcher for their research projects, whether that be soil, blood or the making of colloidal silver.

So Dale, you don't recommend the Alpine Air filter? Does it do what you said about the nitric oxide? I had considered buying one of those for my home, but hesitated because of some controversy I had heard also. But it came highly recommended, and I still would like one.

What kind of air filter for the home is a good one that produces healthy ozone?

I know just what you mean. In fact, I had borrowed one from a friend of mine who's wife had adenoidal cancer and had purchased it for her. After having used it for a week and then looking up a lot more information regarding ozone I returned it to him knowing that my asthma really was acting up more because of it. I had run it at a pretty high rate and my grandkids as well as my wife complained about the smell. I personally like the smell of ozone so that didn't bother me. I just haven't been convinced by the Alpine advertisements in lite of the case against the use of these units with normal air containing nitrogen and other gases.

Used properly, none are.
