Guest guest
Hi... has been in the ICU since surgery, but I spoke to a nurse this morning and she said that they hope to transfer to a regular room sometime today. The actually offered to transfer me into the room, but I didn't want to disturb her. Before he returned home, 's husband told me that Dr. Hu was very happy with the strength in 's right leg. Since I can't spend a lot of time at the hospital over the next week, I've lined up 16 volunteers from my support group who will spend several hours at a time sitting with . It's not full coverage, but hopefully it will help a little. I think is very brave to be going through all this on her own. Some day, I hope you can all meet her. She doesn't post all that much, but she's got a pretty interesting story. I've really enjoyed getting to know her a little. What I like about her most is that she just has a great attitude. Despite the fact that she has a lot of back pain, and has a severe neurologic deficit in her left leg, she gets through each day with a smile and doesn't seem to spend any time feeling sorry for herself. She's definitely a " glass half full " person. :-) Regards, > > Hi... > > I just got a call from 's husband saying that 's surgery was > completed and was recovering in ICU. Guest guest
Thank you all for your sweet comments, but it's really the volunteers who deserve the credit, although I think many of them are feeling really good about doing something for someone they never even met. :-) > > God love you, !
