The blood sugar does change many times a day. If you are tested by an MD, at that time the blood sugar may be very up and you can be diagnosed as diabtic. But then it can rapidly plunge but since they aren't doing the test right then, it is not seen. So you may not be a diabetic after all. Low and high sugar levels do cause many problems such as anxiety depression etc. I have a friend that is being treated with someone with great knowledge on this urine/saliva testing known as Ream's testing (Dr. Carey REams developed it yrs ago). She has Alzheimers and has been treated for the last yr by an MD and is very much worse than when she started. Since we live so far from each other, we only comunicate by phone but it got to the point where we could not even do this because she repeated the same thing over and over. She has been on the above program for 2 weeks and we can talk on the phone more. She still does repeat but is getting better. (I talked with her husband and he agreed to try this approach for awhile) On her first testing she showed extremely high sugar. Sugar carries oxygen to the brain but when it is high or low (I have very low sugars) it cannot do it's job. I won't belabor the point but things that are in our heads started out with a problen in a body function....there is the utmost hope in reversing all of these ailments. I suffered terribly from anxiety disorder about 15 or so years ago, and continue to have a tendency toward it. This was when I was just beginning to discover alternative approaches to meds. Doctors said I needed anti-anxiety meds, others said I needed counseling, Chiropractor said I had hypoglycemia and needed to address my diet. I took VERY mild anti-anxiety med, fought all the powerful things they tried to give, went to a wonderful Christian counselor, and started into the wonderful world of alternative medicine and eating correctly...addressed all angles. When I talked to the Dr. about what the Chiro. said and the Chiro. about what the Doctor said they were at odds with one another. I learned to keep my mouth shut, and sort through the information they gave me with prayer, and do what was best on all fronts. I have strayed a bit on the eating-right part, and am working my way back of late. L. Guest guest
This is interesting. I had a 6 hour glucose test and about 3 1/2 hours in I had a panic attack. Have not had one in 2 years. I told the doc I was having a panic attack and told me to take a benzo. Turns out my sugar was below 45 when the attack hit. Plus I have a flat line, no peaks only a dip to 45....Kim

Guest guest
I must add that getting and dealing with memories of childhood trauma/abuse and PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) can also cause anxiety attacks as well as panic attacks. Herbs and homeopathy can be a real blessing in these situations and I speak from personal experience as well as dealing with others. When I got my attacks I was on a very strict holitstic/anti-candida diet living in clean air in a clean house, all cotton bedding and clothes, etc. I don't think I could have survived without the herbs and homeopathy. Now I am " well " and have not had an attack for over 8-10 years, thank God! > of Dewberry Hill wrote: > > > > For anxiety attacks a person needs to get the attention off themselves, they are too introspect. Guest guest
Debbie, I sure agree with you that it can also be a physical imbalance, I should have clarified that. And agree that diet and cleansing does help the body chemistry. No, I don't think I was putting blame on the individual by saying that it is an introspective thing to have panic. I consider panic to be worry or fear, and it to me that can also be introspective as not everything is physical. Years ago in certain situations I would feel panic. And " getting out of myself " is what helped the most. So I would say it is both. Once again, I wish you well... of Dewberry Hill Debbie said: This is like putting the blame on the individual in a way.
