Hi Donna,

The company has a website at www.youngliving.com. The only downside to it is that it is limited in the listing the amazing things that these oils do. The reason for that is because of medicinal claims and the FDA. If they were to overstep their bounds in the eyes of the FDA, they would come down on them very, very hard. It's a great site for seeing all of the products and it's pretty navigatable.

Hi Rhonda, No c0-q-10 doesn't clean the bowel like homozon or others. It may increase oxygen, but it is incredibly mild compared to homozon. I have taken co=Q-10 for years and enjoy it but it cannot compare to homozon for boosting oxygen levels. And it doesn't clean the bowel like homozon.

Also, wanted to mention on the allergy thing that I just recently discovered something that works amazingly. I live in Oregon on the coast and we have had an incredibly mild winter and lots of things just never stopped blooming and some things are blooming early, like scotch broom which surrounds my house. She did so and her symptoms left immediately and she did not have any allergy symptoms again for over a year and a half.

WEll, all I had on hand were digestive enzymes that had some amylase in them along with protease and lipase and cellulase etc. And I took thirty, not all at once, but 4 or 6 at a time and I started to get relief immediately and kept taking them to really clean the thing up. In addition to the fact that all my severe symptoms left, I also was delighted to find I had amazing energy.

The next day I took about 14 to stay symptom free, and the next day also. In the mean time I ordered pure amylase and started taking it, hopeing to lower my dose and get the same benefits. Hi Bill,

I am currently using their digestive cleansing products (the Cleansing Trio) and their liver cleanse (JuvaTone). The Cleansing Trio is FANTASTIC!! It is comprised of ComforTone (to clean the colon), ICP (to clean the small intestine) and Meagzyme (an enzyme cleanse). All of the products use essential oils to enhance their effectiveness. I have not personally used their parasite cleanse (ParaFree) yet but I've heard wonderful things about it from close friends.

I also use a variety of the oils as energy enhancers and pick-me-ups. Most notable among them is the Peppermint (interestingly enough, 1 drop of YL peppermint oil is equivalent to 26 cups of peppermint tea!!) a blend called En-R-Gee. I also use a powdered drink supplement that I can't say enough wonderful things about. It's called PowerMeal and was formulated to provide optimal nutrition. It has essential oils in it, in addition to Chinese Wolfberry, MSM and other fantastic ingredients. I used it as a supplement during breastfeeding and pregnancy and noticed a remarkable difference in my energy level.

I have some of these young living oils (essential 7: purification,

Joy, peace & calming, pane away, lavender, lemon, peppermint). They

are over a year old, are they still good?

There is considerable difference of opinion regarding Young Living, at least in the "community" non-YL aromatherapy practitioners. As one who has spent years researching essential oils, I find it a marvelous sales ploy to declare ones oils the only pure ones available and therefore the only "therapeutic grade" oils. I also think it dangerous to apply essential oils in a manner contrary to most of history thereby exposing innocents to sensitization. People who work at the stills take great precautions to avoid sensitization...and it's not like they're always distilling inferior or adulterated products.

Young Living is a very successful marketing organization and at this point in time their products are lovely, but overpriced. I got into essential oils because of YL. Didn't stick with them because MLM's have to pay so many people it's insane to purchase through them. AND, they wouldn't give me any peer-reviewed professional citations regarding their claims of helichrysium italicum healing hearing problems. AND it was before Dr. Rob Pappas tested their oils and found extenders in them (1997, I think).

There are a host of folks who are UGLY about Young Living. YL folks say it's jealousy. Maybe so. YL uses essential oils very boldly with great effect initially. There are, however, pretty good reasons why other aromatherapists and massage therapists and others who use essential oils therapeutically do NOT follow their example.

I know of an amazing alternative parasite cleansing product. It's called ParaFree, made by Young Living and it is different in that it uses powerful antiparasitic essential oils. Essential oils are the "life blood" of the plant and do wonderful things to the human body. Some of these functions are 1)allowing for the uptake of Oxygen into the cells 2) delivering nutrients to the cells, 3) many of them are antiviral, antiparasitic, antibacterial,..., 4) some of them cross the blood-brain barrier and will scavenge the toxins that bind to receptor sites in the brain (which causes brain fog) 5) bind and remove other toxins from the body (which makes them a logical addition to any cleansing program) and that's just the beginning. The only "side effects" of using them are that many of them are also supportive of the liver, and endocrine and immune systems.

I started using these products and was amazed at what an impact they've had on my health. I use their cleansing products which also contain essential oils and they are far superior to anything else I've ever tried. I am now an independent distributor(#353767) for Young Living (and I had NO intention of doing anything like this when I resigned from my job to raise my daughter full-time) and I'm putting together a website with all of the information. I also use peppermint oil during my cleanse to help with headaches (it works so well, I'll never touch an Advil again, and I used to work for the company that makes it!) and some of the other oils as alternatives to drugs...

Hi All,

I appreciate everyone's feedback on Young Living, both positive and negative. I think it is incredibly important for each person to be able to form their own, educated opinion. I have been using these oils for almost 2 years now and I'm amazed at what they've done for me and my family. I've tried other brands and notice a big difference between say, YL's lavender and others that are on the market. Some of them don't even smell like lavender which indicates to me their poor quality and degree to which they are cut and adulterated.

If anyone does have a question, please email me directly at hansen_c@... or claudia@.... I think it is in the best interest of the bowel cleanse board if we don't tie it up with info on essential oils since most times, it is not relevant to the discussion at hand.

My only intention was to call attention to the fact that many people who are involved in the professional use of Essential Oils have a different opinion than that stated by claudia and now you. While I agree that selling or not selling Young Living essential oils is NOT an appropriate subject for a bowel cleanse list, I think it's kind of interesting that you would post to the list repeatedly about selling these oils and then when a word of caution comes forth you decide it's time to end the discussion.

Hi Peggy,

I know of an amazing alternative parasite cleansing product. It's called ParaFree, made by Young Living and it is different in that it uses powerful antiparasitic essential oils. Essential oils are the "life blood" of the plant and do wonderful things to the human body. Some of these functions are 1)allowing for the uptake of Oxygen into the cells 2) delivering nutrients to the cells, 3) many of them are antiviral, antiparasitic, antibacterial,..., 4) some of them cross the blood-brain barrier and will scavenge the toxins that bind to receptor sites in the brain (which causes brain fog) 5) bind and remove other toxins from the body (which makes them a logical addition to any cleansing program) and that's just the beginning. The only "side effects" of using them are that many of them are also supportive of the liver, and endocrine and immune systems.

I started using these products and was amazed at what an impact they've had on my health. I use their cleansing products which also contain essential oils and they are far superior to anything else I've ever tried. I am now an independent distributor(#353767) for Young Living (and I had NO intention of doing anything like this when I resigned from my job to raise my daughter full-time) and I'm putting together a website with all of the information. I also use peppermint oil during my cleanse to help with headaches (it works so well, I'll never touch an Advil again, and I used to work for the company that makes it!) and some of the other oils as alternatives to drugs...

The reason that these essential oils can be ingested (please don't do this with just any "essential oil") is because they are of such high quality, they are the only therapeutic grade oils in the world. I use many of them on my skin, with no reaction whatsoever. I'm sorry to go on like this. I get excited about them and there's so much info.

Sorenson keeps an archive of conversations within the non-YL aromatherapy

community regarding YL. It's been years since I actually read them.

I personally recommend that folks educate

themselves beyond what is offered by a sales organization. The AGORA pages

all the info available about products like these so that we can make informed

decisions for ourselves. Without knowledge, how can we make informed decisions?

If these lists weren't about a healthy exchange of relevent information,

Knowledge truly is power. I also believe that the information

needs to be factual and delivered without a hidden agenda of ill intent,

This will be my last message to this board regarding this particular issue, whether you decide to once again question my character, or not.

Every post that I made regarding the oils was from the heart and truthful. As I have stated before, these products have made a wonderful impact on the health of my family. I shared that information because I know it can help others and this board is ultimately about health. The quality of the oils is my opinion and therefore, I cannot add anything else to the discussion.

Both sides have been presented. It is now up to each individual to make his/her own decision.
