Guest guest
Hi. Wishing the best next week. Got to meet ette last month on our way to Amarillo. I know we will be friends for life. My husband said that we have the same walk. I guess that is a life long gait? I am doing great, I have to stop myself from over doing. My daughters and my husband have been wonderful, I know that I have been very blessed through this adventure. I love my new look (posture, a waistline, and 3/4 " taller) and also that I lost weight and haven't put any of it back on! I can walk without any pain and stand forever. The nerve and lower back and hip pain are gone. My lower legs are somewhat numb, however, I was told that would be a side effect for awhile. You can feel all my hardware down my back which freaks people out. My hip screws (?) causes me the most pain, they are so close to the skin that I feel them all the time. I know that a year for recovery seems like forever, esp. when I'm use to being on the go, and I hate not being able to pick up my little grandson, but I would do this again in a heartbeat. This has been life changing and I'm thankful to this list for the knowledge that I gained and friends that I have made. I have learned to ask for help (I am amazed how often I drop things!) and if no one is near it gets kicked aside! Thank you all again for your help the last few years and Happy Holidays, Terry
