Hepitologist needed...I think?

I just joined the group this past week in order to help my sister. I

noticed that some people were talking about a hepitologist. What is a

hepitologist? My sister lives in the Washington, D.C. area and has a

DR. that has been helping her. (I live in CT... so it is very

difficult for everyone in the family when she isn't feeling well) He

is a gastroenterologist (sp?) and is supposed to be good. He may

be... but tonight my sister sounded so distraught... she said every

part of her body hurt, her liver hurt, and she is feeling so down. I

feel as if there should be someone else who should be able to help

her.... some other type of DR.

She is on prednizone and Imuran... (too much prednizone makes

her " crazy " so she is afriad of taking too much) I feel as if she's in

a catch 22.

Nadine (my sister) is eating a raw food's diet and is taking nautral

pills of all types that have been perscribed to her by an alternative

DR. (Her gastroenterologist knows about these.)

If there is anyone who has some suggestions of Doctors in the D.C.

areas, different types of help she can get. I'd really appreciate your

help.

As you all know this is so frustrating... for everyone involved.
